Apotheke am Quellenbusch wanted to open up a new business field and build its own brand, tied to the pharmacy and reflecting its pharmaceutical expertise — in a highly regulated, fast-growing market.
Starting point
Entering the medical cannabis market takes more than an online shop: legally sound processes, trained staff and a dependable supply chain. The pharmacy wanted to launch quickly, but without compromising on quality or compliance — with limited resources of its own. Its requirement for the new brand: fast, simple, reliable and consistent.
What we delivered
Nexopharm supported the project end to end — from the brand through technology and processes to ongoing operations:
- Conception and set-up of the cannaquell.de online shop
- Brand build-up and positioning across several portals to strengthen presence
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manufacturing protocols and compounding records for compliant operations
- Training of the pharmacy staff
- Set-up and steering of customer service, including a customer-service playbook
- Safeguarding the integrity of the cannabis value chain through annual management audits within the Nexopharm network
Result
The project became an established, independent brand with reliable, consistent operations. cannaquell.de today processes more than 10,000 orders — at an average of around 1.8 strains (about two line items) per order. Our role was strategic consulting and enablement: the pharmacy itself is responsible for the pharmaceutical supply, while we built the brand, processes and steering.
